Land FAQ

Do I own the land ?
Yes, Land is a tangible asset: you own the freehold title and retain day to day Control of your plot.
Will there be any other fees ?
The only additional charge is the land registry fee which is currently £40 (Could be subject to change)
Can I sell the plot of land ?
As soon as the land registry certificate arrives in your name, you are free to sell, donate or bequeath your plot of land, or retain it for you own investment.
Can I build on my plot ?
At present the land is greenbelt which does not allow any type of development, if it is re-zoned to whitebelt land it can be built on (subject to planning permission), past records show that once the land is developable the value is increased by a staggering 927% making it a spectacular investment.
If the land is re-zoned what choices are available to me?
You will have the choice to sell your plot at a profit either yourself or through a developer or agent.
What are the different types of land ?

GREENBELT - Largely undeveloped and sparsely occupied land that has been set aside in order to contain development, to prevent towns merging and to provide open space. Greenbelt boundaries can change in response to the requirements for additional housing.

GREENFIELD - Land that has not previously been developed. It includes forestry, agricultural land and associated buildings that have blended into the natural landscape.

BROWNFIELD - Common term for land that has previously been developed. Land that is, or was, occupied by a permanent structure, which is now disused.
